Happy Summer 2021!

July was a hot month.
We enjoyed water play on many sunny days☀

The students splashed each other and the teachers a lot.
They slid down a water slide, squirted water pistols
and let loose many buckets full of water!

Our students celebrated Star Festival in July.



They learnt about the Japanese story of Tanabata
and the characters of Hikoboshi and Orihime.



They get some cute photos taken to enjoy the day.

The students were very serious for or Earthquake drill.
They quietly and correctly stayed under a table during the drill.
They understood that in an Earthquake drill it is important not to rush,
but be careful as they move outside for their final check.

We had our first term Open Day.



Many mommies and daddies came to visit
and see their children enjoy some fun lessons.



The students showed their best behaviour for their parents
and did well in the various lessons.
They were so happy to have their parents at school for a short time.

We also had our first term Spelling Bee.



E and P class students studied hard in the weeks before the event.

They did their best on the day and many of them got a great result!

We had our STEP mini Summer Festival on the 22nd.



It was a lot of fun.
Many children wore nice summer yukatas on the day.



We all enjoyed some fun and games like yo-yo and superball fishing.



The children also enjoyed a watermelon pinata!



After smashing it they got lots of candy to take home and enjoy!



What a great and hot day!!
